Supporting the Advancement of Medical Education in Indonesia, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University Attended the AIPKI Deans Forum 2024

In an effort to help advance medical education in Indonesia, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine of Udayana University, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., attended the AIPKI Deans Forum which raised the theme "Advancing Medical Education Excellence: Enhancing the Development of Academic Health System and Ensuring the Quality of Specialist Doctor Graduates" at Aston Pontianak Hotel and Convention Center, Pontianak, West Kalimantan. (July 25-28, 2024)

In this meeting, there were several main topics of discussion including:

1. Changes in the World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Global Standard.

2. Implementation of the Health Law.

3. Problems that occur related to the implementation of medical education.

4. The education process starts from intake-process-outcome including monev.

The AIPKI Dean's Forum was attended by all Deans from the Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia, while from FK Unud, the Deputy Dean for Academic and Planning Affairs, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT (K), Coordinator of the Undergraduate Medical Study Program, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Doctor Professional Study Program, Dr. dr. I Wayan Eka Sutyawan, Sp.M (K)., Coordinator of the Development, Learning and Quality Assurance Unit (UP3M), dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D, and Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes participated in this meeting.Mendukung Kemajuan Pendidikan Kedokteran di Indonesia, Dekan FK Unud Hadiri Forum Dekan AIPKI 2024

Dalam upaya ikut memajukan pendidikan kedokteran di Indonesia, Dekan Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Udayana, Prof. Dr. dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes., menghadiri acara Forum Dekan AIPKI yang mengangkat tema “Advancing Medical Education Excellence: Enhancing the Development of Academic Health System and Ensuring the Quality of Specialist Doctor Graduates” bertempat di Aston Pontianak Hotel dan Convention Center, Pontianak, Kalimantan Barat. (25-28 Juli 2024)

Dalam pertemuan ini, adapun beberapa topik utama yang menjadi pembahasan diantaranya tentang : 

1. Perubahan dalam World Federation for Medical Education (WFME) Global Standard.

2. Pelaksanaan UU Kesehatan.

3. Permasalahan-permasalahan yang terjadi terkait pelaksanaan pendidikan kedokteran.

4. Proses pendidikan mulai dari intake-proses-outcome termasuk monev.

Forum Dekan AIPKI ini turut serta dihadiri oleh seluruh Dekan dari Fakultas Kedokteran yang ada di Indonesia, sementara dari FK Unud, Wakil Dekan Bidang Akademik dan Perencanaan, Dr. dr. I Gede Eka Wiratnaya, Sp.OT(K), Koordinator Program Studi Sarjana Kedokteran, dr. I Wayan Sumardika, S.Ked., M.Med.Ed., Ph.D., Koordinator Program Studi Profesi Dokter, Dr. dr. I Wayan Eka Sutyawan, Sp.M(K)., Koordinator Unit Pengembangan, Pembelajaran, dan Penjaminan Mutu (UP3M), dr. I Made Winarsa Ruma, Ph.D, dan Dr. dr. Desak Made Wihandani, M.Kes turut serta mengikuti pertemuan ini.
