The Special Division of the Psychology Volunteer Team, Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, held the Trilogy One Day Training (TODT) 2024, an intensive training for new students to prepare them as volunteers in a multicultural society. The activity, which was held in the Lecture Room, 4th Floor, Psychology Building (2/11/2024), aimed to introduce new students to the basics of volunteering and safety procedures on campus. This activity was specially packaged to provide participants with initial insight into the role of psychology-based volunteers and an understanding of evacuation routes on campus in emergency situations.

Carrying the theme “Volunteering in Diversity: How to be a Volunteer in a Multicultural Society,” TODT 2024 is expected to provide an in-depth understanding of cultural sensitivity and the skills needed in cross-cultural situations. Participants were given various materials such as Psychological First Aid (PFA), basic volunteer concepts, and Safety Briefing guidelines to ensure safety in various situations while on duty as well as introducing evacuation routes in the Psychology Building.

This one-day activity not only focused on theory, but also involved simulations and practical sessions that allowed participants to directly apply the knowledge they had gained.
