Udayana University Faculty of Medicine Receives Visit from Representatives of the American Embassy


Udayana University Faculty of Medicine received an audience visit from representatives of The U.S. Embassy's Office of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) which is located in the Dean's Meeting Room, FK Unud Building. (26/2/2024)


From the American embassy, this visit was represented by Lya Nugrahsari and Ery Wijaya who were received directly by the Dean of FK Unud, Prof. Dr. Dr. Komang Januartha Putra Pinatih, M.Kes, Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information FK Unud, Prof. Dr. I Md. Ady Wirawan, MPH., Ph.D., who was accompanied by the UPIKS Coordinator, Coordinator of the Mental Medicine Specialist Study Program, Head of the Psychiatry Department and representatives of psychiatry lecturers.


In his speech, Prof. Januartha said that FK Unud was very open to welcoming cooperation regarding the prevention of drug abuse and rehabilitation for narcotics users.


The main agenda for discussion at this meeting was to introduce INL and the narcotics demand reduction program which includes rehabilitation, treatment and recovery of narcotics users.
