WEBINAR SOUND 2020

The Nursing Student Association of the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University held a nursing Webinar (online seminar) through the Cisco Webex Meeting application with the theme "From Evidence to Practice Nurse in Travel Health" on Sunday, 01 November 2020.

The event began with the screening of the SOUND 2020 Webinar opening video trailer, then continued with the report of the committee chairman from Ni Luh Gede Intan Kartika Dewi, Speech from the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs and Information at the Faculty of Medicine, Udayana University, Dr. dr. I Made Sudarmaja, M.Kes, who also opened the SOUND 2020 Webinar.

The SOUND 2020 webinar was attended by 2 speakers with 2 interrelated topics and both speakers were guided by moderators who are experts in their fields, namely:

Speaker 1: Ns. Made Rini Damayanti S, S.Kep., MNS, with the topic “ Evidence Based Nursing

within the Scope of Travel Health

Speaker 2: Ns. I Wayan Indra Praekanata, S.Kep., S.Pd., SS, M.Hum, with the topic

“Implementation of Nursing Practice Based on Evidence Based Nursing in

Scope of Travel Health

Moderator: Ns. Ida Arimurti Sanjiwani, S.Kep., M.Kep

The webinar was guided by an MC who came from a PSSKPN student on behalf of Ni Kadek Puspasari. The Webinar activity went well and smoothly as expected, although there were some network and technical problems during the presentation of the material, but it could be overcome and guided properly by the moderator. There are approximately 175 webinar participants participating in Cisco Webex. Participants in the webinar who participated came from students from various institutions such as Udayana University, Stikes Bina Usadha, Diponegoro University, Health Poltekkes Denpasar Ministry of Health, STIKES Kesdam IX/Udayana, Mahasaraswati University, etc. After the material presentation session by the two speakers, the event continued with a question and answer session (discussion). In this session, webinar participants can ask questions related to the two materials by typing questions in the Webex chat column which will be randomly selected by the committee as many as 3 questions for each speaker. After the discussion session was over, the moderator closed the discussion session and the event was again guided by the MC. This webinar activity ended with filling out an evaluation form by the webinar participants. The existence of this Regional Seminar is expected to provide many benefits and new knowledge for health workers, especially nursing in the field of travel health .
