Histology

The Histology Department is one of the departments in the Faculty of Medicine. The Histology Department mainly consists of lecturers who have expertise and specialization in Basic Medical Sciences of Histology (micro Anatomy), Cell Biology, Immunology, Genetics, Antiaging and Other Biomedical Sciences. The staff of the Histology Department actively implements the Tridarma of Higher Education, namely in the field of Education for undergraduate students (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dentistry, Bachelor of Physiotherapy), S2, and S3 Medical Science Programs. In the field of research includes biomedical research (genetics and epigenetics, natural ingredients with potential as phytoestrogens, anticancer, immunomodulators, aging prevention, protein based tissue biomarkers etc.). In the field of routine service carried out every year at least 2x both through grant funding from institutions and independently.
